LuckyPuppy

About project
Lucky Puppy is a professional pet grooming salon based in Saint Petersburg. The project included the development of a full visual identity, core brand assets, and print materials—everything needed to launch a new grooming business with a clear, confident, and recognizable presence.

The goal was to create a brand that felt polished and trustworthy from the very beginning, while giving the salon a distinctive visual language that could work consistently across signage, printed materials, and everyday customer touchpoints.
The challenge
The grooming salon category is highly competitive at a local level, and most brands tend to fall into one of two extremes: overly cute and generic, or visually forgettable. Lucky Puppy needed an identity that would feel warm and approachable, while also signaling quality, professionalism, and a more elevated standard of care.

The challenge was to create a brand that owners would trust instantly—one that felt memorable, refined, and visually disciplined rather than decorative or overly sentimental.
The Solution
The identity was built around the idea of precision. Grooming is ultimately about shape, structure, and transformation, and the visual language was designed to reflect that mindset. Instead of relying on playful clutter or obvious pet-industry tropes, the system leaned into minimalism, clarity, and strong form.

At the center of the identity was a geometric dog head constructed from clean, balanced shapes. More than just a logo, it became a symbol of the service itself—controlled, thoughtful, and expertly executed. The mark reflected the salon’s approach to grooming: not simply care, but craftsmanship.

Orange was chosen as the key brand colour to bring warmth, visibility, and energy. In a category often dominated by pale tones and predictable palettes, it gave Lucky Puppy a stronger visual presence and helped position the salon as both friendly and confident.
Visual Identity
The wider identity system was designed to feel simple, sharp, and highly adaptable. Bold typography, strong contrast, and a restrained graphic language allowed the logo and colour to carry the brand clearly across different applications, from printed materials to environmental branding.

This made the identity feel more premium and structured than the average local grooming brand, while still staying approachable for everyday clients.
Result
Lucky Puppy launched with a strong and memorable visual presence that helped the salon stand out in a crowded local market. The identity translated effectively across physical and printed touchpoints and supported the business in building recognition, trust, and a more elevated perception from the start.
